MelonBerry began in 2011 with a little girl named "Melon" and a mama who loved to create. What started as handmade outfits for my daughter quickly turned into something more when strangers stopped us to ask where her clothes came from—and encouraged me to start selling them. Those early moments sparked the beginning of MelonBerry.

From 2011 to 2016, I poured my heart into creating children’s boutique clothing while also working toward my accounting degree. After graduating college, I stepped into full-time work and temporarily set MelonBerry aside.

In 2021, I felt called to reopen MelonBerry—this time with a new focus on thoughtfully designed tees that blend comfort, creativity, and heart. Around the same time, I stepped back from full-time work to focus on being a foster parent and serving the children in our home. I still wanted a way to contribute financially while honoring my family’s needs, so I combined my accounting background with my creative passion and brought MelonBerry back to life.

Today, MelonBerry is a reflection of both creativity and purpose. I live in Mobile, Alabama, where I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three children. Our two youngest were adopted from foster care—an experience that has deeply shaped our family and our values.
