About MelonBerry
Hi, thanks for coming to my website, I'm glad you are here! I was born in Georgia but raised in Mobile, Alabama. I started MelonBerry in 2011, it looked very different back then. When my daughter was born in 2010, I made the majority of her clothing. We would be out and about and people would always tell me "You should sell your outfits" so that's what I started to do! I took a break from selling my creations when I finished college and started to work as an accountant. During this time, we became a foster family and started our fostering journey. As the number of children in our home grew, I felt the need to step back from full-time work and find something I could do from home that would be flexible so I could meet our children's needs. Pairing my accounting experience with my love for creating led me back to MelonBerry! MelonBerry officially reopened in 2021! I'm very grateful for the opportunity to manage my own business and the ability it has given my family to serve the children in our community.
